Last day of February

I'm considering setting up the Star Ocean Universe in other places on the web. There is already facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Star-Ocean-Universe/274275612679796?ref=hl ), but that doesn't mean the less exposure for the fandom, the better. At this point, due to some of my time and computer constraints, it's only going to be in the planning stages to spread out to sites like tumblr, photobucket, and other places like it.

Accepting conversation topics. Still very limited to Till the End of Time and The Last Hope. However, if you have a question about something or want to bring up an interesting tidbit about either game, feel free. Just don't give me spoilers for Games 1 and 2 and the spin-off, Blue Sphere.

Response to the question: What are Luther's true motivations for trying to destroy the Eternal Sphere?
I believe the answers to this, for the fans, will depend upon how they view Luther. If they're not fond of Luther, he's just an egotistical maniac out to save his bottom line. There's nothing wrong with that stance.
However, for those who love Luther, who see him as more than just egomaniac. He's either the perfectionist, trying to create the perfect universe in which he can escape, which is entirely possible . . . or his hand is being forced by the government, also something that is entirely possible. Information is tightly controlled in the four-dimensional realm. It's a cut-throat industry. It's entirely possible that the government monitors every aspect of the gaming industry. In that monitoring, with Robert Leingod and his research team discovering the Four-Dimensional Realm, the government could have stepped in and said, either you do something about this or we will.
For me, it could be any number of reasons. Sadly, as with most video games, we don't get to learn a lot about the villain. It does happen, maybe more often than what I realize, but, in my limited RPG experience, most villains aren't revealed until a certain point in the story. Their motivations are either very clear, or they're hidden. It all depends on how the player views that character. I do love Luther. I think there could have been so much more done with him as a villain to give us a better reason as to why he's trying to eliminate "anomalies" in the Eternal Sphere other than they just shouldn't be there.
That's just me, however.

Regarding questions I've posted: They can be answered at any given time. There is no deadline. If my fellow fans wish to think upon them and then answer, that's perfectly fine with me.
I'll see everyone next month! Happy end of February!
